Professional Network Marketers

A Happy Cynthia Breed

Over 20 years, Cynthia Breed and her husband Bill tried four different MLM companies with little to no success. But they never gave up the vision of freedom that a network marketing business could provide them.

They were successful in traditional business. Cynthia had her own advertising agency, which she closed in order to raise her young family.

Their success in traditional business didn’t translate into success in network marketing, even though she had put her heart and soul into it. The missing pieces were the right skills, leadership and personal growth.

Well these missing pieces of puzzle fell into place when she read the book Success in 10 Steps, four and a half years ago.

With the right knowledge, system and leadership skills in place, she is building one of the largest organisations in her company.

This is the final video of my “One Minute Presentation” series. Much of the lessons I’ve shared with you here I learned from “Big Al” – one of network marketing’s best trainers.

So far in this series, we’ve covered the 2 key pieces of information your prospect needs to say “Yes” or “No” to your business. In the last post, I revealed how you can learn about your prospects’ passions by asking them what they like to do in their free time.

But how do you lead into your short presentation? Here are a series of questions you can ask to help you do just that!

My last post was about telling your prospect about how they could make money in your business. Here’s something critically important that you need to consider: your prospect needs to feel comfortable about the income potential of your business.

You need to match the income potential to the desires and wants of your prospect. But how do you find that out without having to read their mind? It’s actually quite easy.

In my last post, I talked about the 2 things that prospects need to know in order to say “Yes” or “No”. The first thing is exactly what the business is. The second thing is how they can make money.

This is quite easy to do. Just get a feel for how much extra money they would like to earn monthly and tell them what they need to do to earn it. You don’t need to be 100% accurate – a ball park figure in terms of how many customers or distributors they would need is sufficient.

In part 1 of MLM Due Diligence, we set the criteria for assessing a company from the outside. If a company fails on any of those tests, it’s best to leave it and move on. Now we really get into the meat and potatoes…

First of all, why is it so important to pick a good company to build with?

Simple. The reason why Warren Buffett is so wealthy is because he is very, very careful with his investment decisions.

Only when he is absolutely confident that a company will continue to grow and be profitable long into the future, will he put his money into it.

I heard that of the thousands of potential investments he studies every year, he is happy to make just ONE good investment decision. That’s just amazing! [click to continue…]

I used to think being associated with a heavy hitter was a good thing, because I saw them as successful business builders. At least in the pictures they show you, they dress for success, they drive the best cars (usually a Mercedes or a BMW), they live in mega houses with luxury furniture. They walk around with their chest puffed out and they speak with an attitude.

I used to think being associated with heavy hitters was a good thing because I believed that some of the “success” that they displayed would rub off on me. Many other people I’ve met used to think that too. But let me tell you, it’s not a good thing, because a heavy hitter cannot help you become successful.

A heavy hitter does not care about legalities. A heavy hitter does not care about what’s right or wrong. All that a heavy hitter cares about is making money, and they don’t care how they make it. They have big, big egos. They can sell and they can close. But… the majority of people will not be able to do business their way. [click to continue…]
