Why Network Marketing?

Network Marketing

A golden era for the Network Marketing profession

My belief in Network Marketing as a vehicle for creating wealth in the 21st Century has never been stronger, and in this post, I’m going to show you why.

First, the bad news…

We’re living in a world of high economic volatility, a world where common, hardworking people can suddenly become poor overnight.

Today, many people in North America and Europe are under employed, and many are unemployed – far more than what governments are reporting officially. [click to continue…]

Here is the amazing story of Ken Dunn who once was a police detective. His job was to investigate illegal pyramid schemes and prosecute the perpetrators.

During that career, he put 290 people in jail for being involved in illegal pyramid schemes and seized $8 million in cash.

He also had the dubious job of going to every network marketing hotel meeting in town, and told his colleagues to “shoot me!” if he ever got involved in any of those network marketing programs.

But fast forward to now, Kenn is living his dreams as a successful network marketer and is training thousands of people to do the same…

Back to the Future - The New Era of Cottage Industries

Network Marketing to the Rescue!

When I was forced out of my job in March 2009, I told friends I was going to fully concentrate on building my business. Some of them said in light of the economic turmoil, “You’ve picked an interesting time to start a business!”

Is starting a business a brave thing to do, especially in this economy? Absolutely. Stepping into any unknown situation is a brave thing to do. But, to put things into perspective, it’s never a matter of life and death.

Having crossed that bridge though, and looking back at the other side of the river, it’s pretty clear to me, in this economy that you have to be very brave to be an employee. [click to continue…]

A village woman came up to him and asked to borrow $300 to buy a sewing machine and employ six people so she could kick start her business. Moreover, she promised to return the money in 3 months.

Impressed by her focus and determination, he gave her the $300, expecting to never see it again. He was wrong. [click to continue…]

Have you ever wondered how wealth is created in network marketing? Perhaps you’re still wondering if it’s a “real” business, as there are no “bricks and mortar” involved.

First of all, what is wealth?…

When most people think about wealth, they think about “money getting”, or making more money. But Robert Kiyosaki has a very simple definition for creating wealth – it’s not about how much you make, it’s how much you keep!

Joe Sugarman has a very profound view on this as well. He says, whatever you focus on expands. If you focus on your health, then your health expands. If you focus on your business, your business expands. But if you focus on money, you will always chase money because money is NOT REAL. [click to continue…]

In 2005, Robert Kiyosaki wrote a book titled “Before You Quit Your Job!”, which as its title suggests is about the successful transition from being an employee to being an entrepreneur.

There is much more significance to the 5 words “Before You Quit Your Job” than meets the eye. It directly implies that a successful business is conceived and built in your spare time, while you still have a full time job.

In my opinion, this is a very sensible, because building a business requires resources – cash being one of them, although you don’t need a lot to make a lot. [click to continue…]
