Network Marketing in 2011 and Beyond!

in Why Network Marketing?

Network Marketing

A golden era for the Network Marketing profession

My belief in Network Marketing as a vehicle for creating wealth in the 21st Century has never been stronger, and in this post, I’m going to show you why.

First, the bad news…

We’re living in a world of high economic volatility, a world where common, hardworking people can suddenly become poor overnight.

Today, many people in North America and Europe are under employed, and many are unemployed – far more than what governments are reporting officially.

While asset values decline, the money that we earn is buying less and less of the essential items we need for our day to day survival.

Get your FREE MLM success manual here.

College and University students are waking up to the fact that after borrowing huge amounts of money to go to school, only to receive a piece of paper that’s worthless because everyone else has one, there are no real prospects for a career.

They are debt laden and they are angry. And you will see that anger pour out on to the streets in riots.

The utopian dream of the industrial age where everyone is employed for life, working for the corporation is fast becoming the information age nightmare as there is no longer any job security, and age is not considered as wisdom, but as a liability.

That’s the grim, doom and gloom bad news.

Now for the good news…

There are many industrious people who now realise there is no financial security in employment. They’ll embrace entrepreneurship because they know it’s the only way they’ll have control over their own prosperity and financial destiny.

And so will the many students who have been hoodwinked into thinking the only way to succeed in life was to go to school, get good grades and become an urban professional.

People will realize the only way of prospering in the new economy is to use one’s own ability to create something or do something that will be valued by others.

Those who were skeptical about this business before will see it for what it really is: A “big business” school of the real world, a big business school where there are tuition fees, no employees to manage, no premises, no boss, minimal expenses, and a great potential for creating true wealth as they develop into leaders and people of great influence.

There’s also a spiritual awakening happening. This is a time where people start backing away from their “I want it now” credit culture; they stop buying cheap goods made in foreign countries that pay minimum wages and they stop eating toxic hamburgers and fast food.

They are going for quality over quantity. To help boost the economy, people will be trending toward locally manufactured, high quality products. Locally made, high quality products are a hallmark of Network Marketing.

This will be the golden age of the Network Marketing profession. There are over 6 billion people in the world who are yet to take part in it. Spread the good word!

To your MLM success,

Wayne Wu

I do too. Mindset is important, but it won’t do any good for you if you’re not acting. There has to be a combination of things to do in order to be successful. Great post. I will share it for sure!

Hi Wayne,

You’re right, people are embracing the entrepreneur lifestyle and the internet is certainly helping that. The difficult part for most people is having the entrepreneur discipline. But we’re definitely experiencing change in the marketing mindset.

Nice post, Liz :-)

Hi Wayne,

I don’t think that being an employee is the natural state of making one’s money. The employee is a rather recent invention and public pension systems were created when people barely reached of 65 – so the public system has never had any stress test so far. Ironically, financial authorities are having private financial institutions pass stress tests…

As a matter of fact, most people are trained to work for money. So if they become entrepreneurs, they are in reality self-employed people selling their time and working for earned income, such as fees and commissions.

Freedom isn’t found there.

What do you think ?

Thanks for a thought-provoking post.

Take care

How often have you seen ads on television that use the term Independent Insurance Agent or Associate? Yet as we watch these advertisements we naturally assume they are employees of the company when in reality they are independent business owners! No doubt you have noticed as you have driven through your neighborhood many of these small businesses they have signs and other advertisements designed to draw your attention to them.Yet you will rarely see advertising from the approximately 13 million people who are either involved with direct selling or in the network marketing industry according to figures by the Direct Selling Association DSA .There is distinct difference between us and them in most cases they are assigned an exclusive territory and therefore cannot market outside of their assigned territory. Traditional marketing methods have companies spending millions of dollars each year to market their products and services. They know that word-of-mouth marketing is a far more powerful and effective method of marketing especially when that message comes from those whom we know and trust! And these companies are more than willing to pay you to communicate this message to your network of friends and family. It is extremely important to understand that this method of marketing is not about bugging your friends and family members as many would love for you to believe. It is about your ability and skill to determine from those individuals within your circle of influence who would be interested in the products or services that your company has to offer That information alone is one of the critical elements that separates those who fail from those who go on to become very successful! And occasionally you might uncover a few individuals who also want to start a business!I truly believe Robert Kiyosaki summed it up nicely it really is the business school for people who like helping people! If you want to call your own shots in life if you re willing to get the education you will need to run a small business if you enjoy working with people then network marketing just might be right kind of business for you.If on the other hand you re only in it for the money or you just don t like dealing with people well then You ll most likely end up failing!Personally I ve found running a network marketing business to be a very rewarding.

When you consider how the spiritual revolution is already changing our consciousness, it’s not hard to see how perfectly network marketing is poised to become the business force of our times. I don’t think we have seen anything yet in comparison to what we will and very soon too.

Hi Wayne,
I have shared your article with my friends over FaceBook and ask them to give their comments about MLM.
Network Marketing or Multilevel Marketing is a good way to earn some money or to become rich over night just to do a little effort and to use your social circle but the condition is that the MLM company should be trust worthy.

Truly there are lots of people that are underemployed and even unemployed. People who are employed most likely are not contented of what they are earning with the time they spent working, yet it is better than unemployed. It is a matter of choice and perseverance to earn the income you wanted. Nowadays that network marketing is the best way to earn lots of people are into it and many more are trying to get it.

Wu,
You make a lot of sense. All you have to do is look at the jobs out here that are out sourcing. this is simply par for going ahead and having employees in a contract role, which i believe will only foster more and more network marketers.

Hi Wayne, nice thoughts. R. Kiyosaki says, “if a guy asked me if he should go to college, I would say: Go to college, get your degree and start your own business”. Robert urges people to move from the left side to the cash-flow quadrant, on the right side (I suppose everyone here has read at least one of his books). The traditional education doesn’t teach how to make money but how to be employees and give our time to someone else. What we need is to learn how to make money work for us. That’s what I tell to my friends but only a few understand.

Hey Wayne,

I just read “Conspiracy Of The Rich” by Robert Kiyosaki and touched on this subject, and I highly recommend it. Network/Online marketing is definitely a great option for the “commoner” to get involved with so they can be prepared for what might be a grim future for the economy.

Hello Wayne, Your exactly correct. I’ve been network marketing for 20 years. I’ve watched as people I care about lose their job. The next thing they do is attempt to get another job. They continue this over and over. However, more and more people are giving network marketing the respect that’s due. Great post! Go! Go! Go!

Network marketing has still lots of potential, especially in places where it is new or entire product range is new. I don’t understand how and why people loose faith in such great marketing strategy without working enough for it.

This is an awsome article, very inspiring! But I think there is more to entrpreneurship than being responsible for your own employment. There is also, at least by my peers, financial freedom through a hopefully promising exit of the company, but also freedom to decide for yourself fully explore your capabilities and push outside of your comfort zone. I´m working on one myself right, still in the hardest first yards of the game! But I´m destined to follow through and your article sure is helping to keep the energy level high!

Best,
Jim
