I‘m beginning to understand the philosophy of this book. It surprises me that it’s taken all of this time to do so, but it is quite obvious to me now.
It can be expressed in one word. The word is mentioned several thousand times throughout the pages, and it’s right there on the cover. That word is “THINK”.

The bottom line of this chapter is we have to take control of the thoughts that pop into our head.
My favourite Napoleon Hill quote is: “What the mind of man can conceive, it can achieve.”
After reading this chapter, I realise there are 2 sides to this coin.
Indeed, all of what we have in the physical world first began as thoughts in our minds.
Poverty can only manifest in one’s life if one is constantly running mental pictures of it in one’s head like a really bad movie. [click to continue…]
Rebuilding Community
In my
last post, I talked about how the top earners in the Network Marketing profession only have 3, 4 or 5 leaders in their downline who produce most of their volume. This is the power of forming close relationships in business and there are more than enough network marketing success stories to prove it.
Let’s take a look at where we are today. We have more entertainment and information than any person can handle. We have more technology at our disposal than ever before. Most of us in the Western world don’t have to do much physical labour anymore as we mostly do knowledge based work.
But even though we have a lot more “stuff” in our lives, something’s not quite right. We are generally less happy today than we were 20 or 30 years ago. Why is that? [click to continue…]
Build this to get Big in MLM!
The history of
Network Marketing is just fascinating to me. When network marketing began in the 1950′s it was very much a direct sales business. Back then, MLMers would literally go door to door getting customers for laundry detergents and multipurpose cleaners.
There was much less emphasis was placed on sponsoring. Independent reps would buy their products from “direct” distributors who had achieved a level where they could deal directly with the company. Direct distributors would have a truck load of products shipped to their home!
Thankfully, MLM has made much progress since then. Every independent distributor deals directly with their own company and there’s no need for huge inventories. [click to continue…]
Unlock Your Mind to The Sixth Sense
Since I started, or restarted my
30 Day Mental Cleanse for the 2nd time only a couple of weeks ago, I haven’t yet fully grasped this chapter.
But Napoleon Hill stated something very profound in this Chapter…
“Through the aid of the sixth sense, you will be warned of impending dangers in time to avoid them, and notified of opportunities in time to embrace them”
What this means to me is that we should trust our heart, we should trust our instincts, we should trust the universal intelligence that we receive from the ethers. [click to continue…]
