You are right; the days of comfort and happily laboring away at your J.O.B, expecting all to be rosy at the end of your career are definitely not in the horizon.

Robert Kiyosaki’s book, ‘Rich Dad’s Prophecy’ sheds some light on the not-so-bright future that awaits, if we live in a state where we expect our jobs, or someone else for that matter to take care of us.

Like you rightfully put it, the one true way to guarantee your future survival, is to get into business. Only YOU can guarantee your success and your future.

Times have certainly changed, and with each day, inflation eats away at people’s’ income. At the same time, people are losing jobs and others are having their salaries frozen. I can’t think of any other reason to be an entrepreneur.

It certainly is frustrating when people don’t see the big picture, but that’s life, and that’s the challenge of being a network marketer. In time, many people will come to realize the truth.

You have reminded me also of the reason I started in online marketing…the retirement factor as pointed out by Peter. Doubly so because my son is eleven and in nine years I will be up for retirement. The cost of raising a child means at retirement age I am unlikely to have any savings. So for anyone who thinks it’s too late to start a business because of age you should think again.
