Let Your Inner Archimedes Guide You To Success in MLM

in Mindset & Personal Development

A short while ago, I was chit chatting with a friend of a friend at a party. A really cool guy, just completed a Ph.D! But… could NOT land a job.

So he decided to apply for some labour jobs stacking shelves at a supermarket while he waited for a position to become available.

Can you imagine that? A Ph.D. graduate working at a supermarket??!! There is something very wrong with that picture.

This is exactly what the industrial age education complex has trained every human to do. Go to school, get a degree, and then get a J.O.B.

It’s crystal clear to me now. We’ve never been truly taught HOW to think, only WHAT to think. Think about that…

“Your house is your biggest investment”

“On average the stock market has gone up 12% every year”

The general public just accept these as fact, without question!

We HAVE the ability to think critically…

The human brain is just a miracle of nature! There are a stupendous number of connections in the brain – too many to count. And they are all specifically organised!

At any given time it is the hottest and most active organ in the human body (…and yes, even during sex…) because it is keeping the body alive.

But the brain isn’t just there to keep us alive. It has much higher level, intangible purposes.

Humankind’s Greatest Source of Leverage…

Napoleon Hill writes about the brain in Chapter 13 of his famous book, “Think and Grow Rich”. Hill says the brain is the sending and receiving station for the vibration of thought.

That’s a very profound statement because thoughts are our greatest source of leverage. Thoughts are things. Everything human-made object around us first began as an intangible thought inside someone’s head.

My own current journey in this wonderful industry of network marketing first began as a thought of what it would be like to be rich a mere two and half years ago.

As a shy, not very confident young lad who would NEVER ask his boss for a raise in fear of being told “No!”, I dared to dream that one day I would be uber rich.

Who could possibly know when I began that journey that today I would be marketing online, writing blog posts and masterminding with other brilliant entrepreneurs from all over the world? It’s just amazing. That’s the power of thought.

A Precious Gift…

How subconscious mind and the faculty of Creative Imagination come together to send out vibrations of thought to the ether and have these vibrations come back with the right answers is truly extraordinary.

The brain has a phenomenal capacity to absorb and retain information, learn new skills and stretch itself and adapt to new situations. It is a gift that every single person on this planet is given.

Many people will never realise they have this gift.

Many people of this world will just accept their circumstances as fact and will not even attempt to change it, because they don’t know that they have that ability through the power of thoughts!

As you progress through your own journey, use your own ability to think and find the TRUTH behind making your success happen!

To your MLM success,

Wayne Wu

Hey Wayne,

You mention a great book there “think and grow rich” – one of the all time greats, and quite an intimidating book if I may say.

It is true that the subconscious mind is really powerful if one learns how to control it, I am not going to pretend I do, but the book has spread awareness that will help people develop this skill.

Thanks for this post my friend.

Hey Wayne,

Thanks for your insightful comment my friend. It is an intimidating book because you really discover yourself as you read it. I did anyway.

Just on that, you can give a great personal development book to someone who’s not going for anything and they will think it’s a load of rubbish.

Take care,
Wayne

Hey Wayne,

I love this “Go to school, get a degree, and then get a J.O.B.”

It reminds me of what I learned as a student of Robert Kiyosaki’s mentoring program. This philosophy is so messed up and why I prefer a home business any day.

But that’s just me.

Hey Jerome,

“Go to school, get a degree, and then get a J.O.B.” – it’s a lie. It’s as simple as that. I owe tens of thousands of dollars to the Government for my University education and never used one iota of the skills I learned there. Go figure.

Amen, give me a home based business any day!

Hey Wayne,

Think & Grow Rich is a powerful book. I’ve read this several times.

The mind is a powerful tool. That is why it’s important you feed it what you want not what other people want.

Chat with you later…

Hey Josh,

It’s a book that I read over and over again too. And every time I read it, I get more out of it because I’ve grown as a person.

Take care,
Wayne

Hi Wayne,

“Think and Grow Rich” is one of my all-time favorites… Glad you brought it up!

The power of the mastermind was the thing that stood out most to me and I kept thinking, “Man, I need to join or form a mastermind”…

And I kid you not… a few months later — I was contacted by someone who asked me to become a part of a mastermind group!

That’s the power of the mind, my friend.

Hi Derek,

It’s amazing isn’t it? I was thinking exactly the same thing, my friend. I need to be involved in a mastermind group to really synergise with. And guess what, not long after, I was invited into one.

Flippin’ amazing how this “Law of Attraction” works.

Wayne as usual this is a great post.

Its refreshing to read as a break from the ‘norm’

The mind is indeed powerful. I still amazes me how I can conceive something work towards it and watch it materialize in front of my eyes.

We are CONTROLLED from the very day our brains start to process things properly. If we were left to out own devices the world maybe a better place. But those in power wont be in power and that is where the problem is. But that’s a different topic for a different day

Hey Dwayne,

Very insightful mate. And that’s what it’s all about isn’t it? Greed and power. You’ve given me a great idea for another post.

Powerful post Wayne,

You know the whole concept of school -> University -> Job bugs the hell outta me!

Every “Job” is working for someone else, someone else who is getting rich off your work….

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s great that some people are happy doing that. They are needed in society. But I feel its wrong that it’s the only option that the education system seems to be showing people…..

Plus I’m NOT happy working to make someone else rich… It’s not my style…

end rant lol

Thanks,
Matt

Hey Matt,

It bugs the hell out of me as well and I feel like I’ve been lied to. Of course we need jobs in society but we also need the entrepreneurs to create the jobs too.

Cheers,
Wayne

Hey Wayne,

I am reading “Think and Grow Rich” now.
It was the way I was told to do things,
I went to school, got a job and then….
decided it wasn’t for me.

It was during my MBA when I was studying business
when my wife talked about starting a home business
and thought it was a great idea. It has changed
my thinking completely around.

I didn’t accept what I was doing and as Network Marketers
we are unique people. We set goals, we have our ups
and downs, and we love what we do. The journey has
been a good one so far…

Have a great day!
