When you were a kid, did you endlessly ask “Why”? Do you have kids that never stop doing that to you? You tell them to clean their room and they keep asking “Why?”. They just keep asking “Why?”, “Why?” and “Why?” until you get really annoyed and snap “JUST GO TO YOUR ROOM AND CLEAN IT NOW!” If you’re not guilty of this yourself, I’m sure you know someone who is.
That was just one example of how we are taught to stop asking “Why?” every single day. And it’s a real tragedy because it conditions us to stop questioning and being inquisitive. It conditions us to just accept the status quo and things cannot be changed.
As most people grow into adults, they tend to lose the visions of their dreams, they lose hope, they lose their sense of freedom, they become apathetic, and they get into comfort zones because they’ve been conditioned to accept that this is “their lot” in life and there’s no way to change it. There is no sense of self-worth.
You and I are amongst a small group of people who have began to question if we could change our lives and live it the way we want to.
You’ve asked yourself: “Was I really put on this planet to work behind a shop checkout 8 hours every single day to earn just enough to scrape by?”, “Was I put here just to raise a few children to ensure the continuance of the human race?”
Questioning where you are in life is a beautiful thing. And that is why you and I have ended up in this thing called “network marketing”. MLM is our “red pill”, the way out of The Matrix.
Realising that you can live life how you want to live it is not a pretty process. It can be so treacherous that many will wish they had taken the “blue pill” and not gotten out of their “comfortable” mindless daily routines. It takes courage to change.
You need a powerful “WHY” to get over the obstacles that will inevitably get in your way.
Not many people have asked themselves that question: “Why?”… “Why am I doing this business?”
When asked, they typically say things like…
“So I can quit my J-O-B and never work again”
“So I can make $30,000 a month without working for it”
“So I never have to worry about money again”
“So we can travel around the world and have lots of fun”
“So I can buy a nice car”
All of these reasons have something to do with objects and money. They are good starting point, but they are not the real reason why you’re in business. They are not sufficient to keep you going when you come across difficulties that demand your persistence.
Your real reason enduring your pursuit is all about discovering who you really are as a person, it is all about knowing your purpose in life. Finding that purpose is a process within itself. But when you have that definiteness of purpose, you won’t stop until you achieve it.
You can find your purpose by being like a kid who never stops asking “Why?”
Start with “I want to quit my J-O-B and never work again” and then ask yourself “Why?” over and over until it leads you to place where you can’t answer that question anymore. It’s like peeling an onion to the core.
This is a process that will lead you to your core values, below which there is nothing. There are no more answers to the question “Why?” once you get to your core values. Your core values make up who you really are as a person.
Give it a go and see what you come up with!
To your MLM success,
